ACT Test June 8, 2013

The next ACT will be given June 8, 2013.  The last date to register without a late fee is May 3.  You may register at www.actstudent.org.  The school code is 010-996.  Be sure you check the box to have your scores sent to The Lakeside School.  You can send up to four score reports to colleges when you register.

College Fair - March 12 at 6:00 p.m.

All students/parents in grades 8-12 are encouraged to attend The Lakeside School 3rd Annual College Fair on Tuesday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the gym.

CVCC College Preview Day

Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City will host a college preview day on Thursday, February 21 at 10 a.m. (est) and is open to all graduating seniors.  See Ms. Hudspeth to reserve your spot.

Jacksonville State University - Spring Preview Day

Jacksonville State University will host Spring Preview Day for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and their families on Saturday, February 23 and April 6, 2013.  Representatives from academic departments, student clubs, and organizations will be available as well as campus tours.  Visit www.jsu.edu/previewday for more information and to register.

ZAPS ACT Test Preparation

Senior Parents: College Financial Aid Workshop

Senior families are invited to a financial aid workshop on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.  The workshop will be led by Susan Bryant, Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Chattahoochee Valley Community College, and will take place in the library.  The federal financial aid process will be discussed along with other forms of aid.  Please plan to attend.  If you have any questions, please contact me.
